Hey friends!

Hello! I am so glad you are here. I am Luke, a sixteen year old high school student, book lover, history buff and now recently also a blogger.

I love learning new things, so recently I began learning how to create and design a website and voilà, here is my Luke McLendon blog page.

I plan on sharing things I am doing, things I enjoy and things that interest me.

I also hope to include a guest blog from time to time.

I hope you enjoy the site.

Jaws by Peter Benchley

No, it’s not about the book. It’s not even about the movie really. This is about one line in the movie. One line delivered at the end of a soliloquy delivered by Quint (Robert Shaw). It’s a Story within a Story. A story about the sinking of the USS Indianapolis in 1945.

I love history ❤️. Watch this ICONIC scene YouTube Video:

Welcome Featured Guest:

Katelyn Turner

From time to time I like to have a guest speaker.

I feel like if this website was only about me then I’d run out of things to write about eventually. To make sure that this doesn’t happen, I’ll sometimes reach out to friends or family and ask them to write something using the prompt, “What is something that interests you?” I always find that it’s hard to write when you’re being forced to do it but easier if you are writing about something fun or something you enjoy. Since the only people reading this are probably people that know me, feel free to reach out if you have something you want to add!

Katelyn Turner is my cousin and an Auburn University alum with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications.

She presently working on her Masters Degree in Business while working at Auburn University.

Katelyn is an avid book reader. She loves horseback riding, trying out new recipes and her dog Harper.
